Day at the Smithsonian

David, Sarah, Praveen, Noah, and I went to the Smithsonian yesterday. We walked our feet off, but got our fill of museums. We hit the Air & Space, American History, and Natural History museums, as well as the WWII Memorial fountain, and the Lincoln Memorial. Noah was especially looking forward to the Air & Space Museum and the Lincoln Memorial. Some pics:

Nice pics, Jill.

We lived (in NoVa) about 8 mles from the Air and Space museum (only just built then, and we never got to see it.

In the straw hat, David reminds me of an Amishmen.

I really like Indian people. They almost always have very pleasant personalities, are very accommodating, are very smart, and seem to stick to one wife, above all.

My general doc is an Indian woman and her husband is my gastro-doc - I have had much trouble with GERD and once had to have several transfusions, just to live.

Tell me about anemia, it is a bitch.

Anemia - I am well-acquainted with it. Until my hysterectomy in 2007, I was chronically anemic. My blood pressure would sometimes drop to 72/50. I was craving ice - 8 cups a day, which stopped only if I popped a SlowFE a day.

Much better now! And my lips have their color back ;)
